About

Rotary Ten emerged wide eyed from a disused milking shed in rural Lincolnshire early in the 21st century. Relocation through education led us to Sheffield and further afield. In late 2006 we released our debut double A-side single Idols Of Our Own Design/Action Man on limited edition white 7 inch through our Quick! Records label, followed in 2007 by the similarly limited 'We Travelled Without Mentioning It', both discs catching the attentions of the likes of Steve Lamacq and Gideon Coe. The end of 2007 was spent camped in a cold Sheffield studio recording what would become our debut album, 'These Are Our Hands'. In 2008 the album was released in Japan by Kurofune Records, and in the UK by Xtra Mile Recordings, backed by a limited edition split 7 inch and a flurry of small tours throughout the country. In summer 2009 we recorded our second album, 'Cover Me In Leaves', which is set for release on MP3 and limited edition CD in a hand screen printed Arigato pack in early 2010.
